currently i'm trying to get some english done up in bracken but it isn't working out too well. i just want finals to be over with :( i don't like this whole standardized testing thing, testing you over what you've learned this whole semester! NOT FUN! i hope everyone is having a good week and isn't TOO stressed. It's HUMP DAY the week is almost over! hoooooray

It's the one day out of the year when every girl openly speaks about their insecurities. All thanks to the gorgeous, flawless, and 0% body fat Victoria Secret Models. It truly isn't fair. These girls are insanely beautiful and the fact that they're real baffles me. Like I wonder if they don't eat anything for weeks in advance. How else would you be okay with walking down a sparkly runway, in just a bra and a little piece of cloth over your butt? Well back to the show!!! Oh la la!

sitting in english class right now thinking, if the rain is ever going to stop. i think it's rained in muncie more than ever. apparently the rain is supposed to turn into snow this after noon. that is going to make going to my history class at 330, very very difficult. sometimes i really hate the ideas of these blogs because i feel like i'm complaining 24/7 on these. oh well. i can't wait until winter break so i can hang out with my best friends that go to other schools. it's going to be like a huge, month long reunion!!! i miss them sooo much.

although im ecstatic to be home i'm soooo bored sometimes. i found myself watching 8 episodes of gossip girl today. that's just plain sad. i hope everyone is still enjoying their breaks still! it's going to be major crunch time after we get back from thanksgiving break getting ready for finals and such. gonna be stresssfull to the max!

thanksgiving

my thanksgiving was pretty normal to say the least. family, food and laughs. haha i always love getting together with my cousins because they're soooo funny. i think it runs in the family! now it's time to get geared up for christmas. but i never go black friday shopping, dont get me wrong i love to shop but i just don't think its necessary to get up soooo dang early to then just fight for the last wii, or the last pair of uggs on sale. not my cup of tea!!

ahhhh i'm so mad at myself because i said i'd keep up with these blogs and lately its been the last thing on my mind. so we're on thanksgiving break FINALLY! all i've done is watch gossip girl from the beginning seasons .. hahah well i hope everyone has been relaxing as much as i have!

harry potter

i just finished watching the last parts of the harry potter movies and i'm so depressed! it was such a good series and it still baffles me that someone could come up with something that creative. its so sad that its all over, i never read the novels but i've seen all of the movies and became really attached. its sunday and i have to do some laundry and study for one of my tests that i have tomorrow. thanksgiving break is soooo close .....

its da weekend

finally! this week was supposed to be stress free and not as intense as last week! but no no no, it wouldn't be college if things went well all the time. i finally got my schedule figured out for next semester and thanfully, its not that bad! NO 8AMS! hoooooraaaay. i also had my conference with prof. mcardle and i can't believe that the semester is almost over. it's crazy to think that that was my last conference with him, next time i'll be turning in the portfolio. prof. mcardle really helped me out more with my multi-modal argument and now i am very confident in my topic. thanks :)

next few weeks

as the semester is somewhat coming to a close, i need to really start buckling down in school work. i've done pretty good so far for my first semester as a freshman. i think i balanced my time pretty well between school work and social activities. next semester is going to be just as challenging if not more, after i fix my schedule! i only got 9 out of the 15 or 17 hours that i should be taking next semester. so this week i need to fix my schedule to something that i can work with.

its snowing!!!!

its snowing in muncie!!!! im not that excited for winter but i am excited for the holidays! there's just something about the family surroundings, the home-cooked meals, and the amount of love that the holidays bring! no one should be a scrooge! i loooooooooooove christmas. this post is really just weird but yeah. i'm excited to go home this weekend and work on some of my papers for this class! like i said in the beginning i really want to do well! and i feel that as time has progressed everything that i've learned has been helpful.

sick and tired, of being sick and tired

it's only tuesday and i'm already sick. two days ago the temperature was almost freezing and now it's 70 degrees .... like can mother nature please choose what season it'll be throughout the month of november? today in english we peer reviewed over our last and final project and it went pretty well. i think that every member in my group did a good job, we all have things we need to improve on though. after we reviewed on each of our weebly's, we had a chance to play around with the website and now i feel like i know what is what and how to work things. i can't wait until the finished product!

laundry

i'm sitting in stu west's laundry room in the basement with my friend molly right now. to be completely honest i have yet to start my multi-modal paper/website and i'm just about to start. someone pray that for my sake i can come up with some good ideas for my topic. i printed off a really good article about how people these days are obsessed with celebrities, it ties with my topic of, what is a role model? the article is about 20 pages long and i'm about to read and annotate some notes so that will hopefully give me a great start to my paper!

chem chem chem

chem makes me want to vom. i currently am trying to understand something for a test that's NEXT WEEK! thats how bad i am at this subject, the fact that i have to start studying so early makes me feel lame. and i don't even know why i have to take this class anyways ... uh hi, i'm a fashion merchandising major. don't really need this class for my future but i appreciate the thought. THANKS ALOT BSU. anyways on a lighter note i found my topic for our next assignment and it is called: what is a role model? i'm excited to shows the different ways and aspects that role models are portrayed as.

well i hope it's not raining so much tomorrow,  like it was today!!!!
