i must be lame

so its a thursday night and i'm in my dorm. i could be out and hanging out with my Chi O sisters but instead i feel like being a bum in my room. my day went as follows: english, lunch, nap, history, dinner, watch jersey shore with some floor friends. i don't know why but i just don't feel like doing anything today. maybe because this weekend/next week is about to be crazy. i can't wait for tomorrow night because my pledge class' retreat is tomorrow night through the morning. it's going to be amazing learning about my fellow sisters in a different way. i cannot imagine not have gone greek, it's too much fun. and then on saturday is watermelon bust basically the christmas of greeek life at BSU. and then homecoming week. ahhhh homecoming week! i'm praying for beautiful weather!

shattered wednesday

Woke up 10 minutes before I had to get to class. Hurrying to class, I drop my phone on the concrete and it shatters. 3 minutes later I arrived to class and checked my e-mail realizing that class was canceled. ITS WEDNESDAY. not monday. I've had the worst luck today more than ever. I don't know what to do with my phone's screen and I want to smack myself for not looking at my email in time. On top of this I still have a really busy two weeks ahead of me. I just want time to slow down, or atleast give me some time to breathe.

so sorrry

eh.... i cannot lie, i have been really bad about keeping up to date with my blog. it makes me so mad because when prof mcardle introduced us to this i was so excited and i promised myself that i'd be keeping it updated. but since school finally got into the swing of things, i haven't had the chance. plus my sorority takes up about 99% of my time... can't say i hate it though :) english is starting to get really stressful as well. i love the class but in our last paper/rough draft i've been having troubling collecting my ideas together. oh well hopefully things get back to normal soon. but for now i'm at home in fishers for the weekend and i'm about to go to the chris brown concert in about 4 hours! I LOVE CHRIS BROWN!!!!!

rush week....

so this past weekend, starting on thursday until today, sunday, i've been apart of ball state's sorority formal recruitment! at the begining of the week I had my mind made up about which one i wanted ... boy was i wrong. i didn't get a bid from my top choice but then alot of other doors opened up for me. after i had cried to my best friend about me not getting the bid i wanted she told me, everything happens for a reason. and i cannot thank her enough for advising me not to drop out of recruitment, i'm obsessed with my number 1 choice and hopefully they feel the same way about me tomorrow. tomorrow is BID DAY aka christmas in sorority land. i cannot wait to meet my new sisters :) but let's just say rush week was one HELL of a week!

labor day weekend

sooo i've been at home for labor day weekend in fishers, indiana. i have to say i'm impressed with how much butt my parents have been kissing on me. as soon as i walked in the door on friday my dad had made my favorite meal and my mom welcomed me with open arms, and headed straight to the laundry room with my dirty clothes. i love it. but after about 24 hours here, i'm ready to be back at BSU. i can't wait to get back into the swing of things ... what can i say? I LOVE COLLEGE
