mentally, physically, and emotionally ...

drained. i am so overwhelmed with school already! i have absolutely no idea what in the world i'm going to write my "this I believe" essay on. i really am nervous because it is my first "college" paper and i feel like Professor McArdle has very high expectations of us. On top of school work, I miss my friends from home VERY MUCH. I am all about meeting new people but my friends from home and I were very, very close. I'm so glad to be able to see them this Labor Day weekend. Most of us went to all different schools like, IU, Purdue, USI, UK, IUPUI and a couple more. It'll just be nice to be able to go home and relax without having to think about school and homework.

bloggin' in bracken

Today in english class we had to go over the Ball Point Handbook. I'm not going to lie it's not all that exciting but it helps me understand exactly why I'm in the English 103 class. The guide is very detailed, and definitely gets the point across. Someone in class brought up the fact that Professor McArdle looks like Jimmy Neutron, and I hate to say it but he does! But of course his hair is much, much nicer. Although, I don't think it looks like Patrick Dempsey... Right now I am in Bracken library typing this up because for some reason I can't do anything productive in my dorm. Maybe it's the fact that my friends are always distracting me, not in a bad way, but I for sure don't get anything done. Perks of being social?

first day of english 103

I am currently sitting in my room typing this blog for English 103. Today was the first day for this class which I'll have on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Today Professor McArdle asked us what our favorite movies, and books were. It was cool to see the different personalities in people when they said their favorites out loud. After reading and going over the syllabus I believe the class is going to be a little difficult if I don't keep my time management a top priority. Other than that I am actually excited for the projects and assignments for English 103. I really hope that I did this blog thing correct, if not I'll feel like an idiot in front of the whole class.
